Interpol President Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi paid a working visit to IMDEA to review the activities of the institution.
During his working visit, IMDEA Deputy Director General Ato Daniel Gutta briefed the President on the Information Network Security Administration (INSA)’s efforts to ensure Ethiopia’s digital sovereignty through human resource development, technology ownership, and the implementation of locally-developed operating systems.
During his visit, the President of the International Police Organization, Major General Dr., noted that IMDEA has the potential to play a leading role in building cybersecurity capacity, and noted that the work being done, especially with young children and technology literacy, is exemplary.
