Information
Network Security Administration (INSA) has officially received
the ISO 9001:2015 international quality
management certification, recognizing its commitment to global
standards in quality management practices.
The certification, awarded after rigorous
assessment, reflects INSA’s ability to deliver
consistent, reliable, and customer-focused services in the
cybersecurity and information technology sector. The achievement was
highlighted during a formal event attended by government officials, including Dr. Dima Nageyo, Permanent Committee Member for Foreign
Relations and Peace Affairs, who emphasized that this milestone
strengthens INSA’s capacity to fulfill its national
mission effectively.

W/ro Tigezst Hamid, INSA Director General, underscored that the
certification reinforces the
organization’s sustainability and competitiveness. She noted
that the quality management system ensures continuous
improvement across processes, compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements, and alignment with customer expectations. This
positions INSA as a globally competitive entity within the cybersecurity
industry.

Meaza Abera, Director General of the Ethiopian Standards Agency,
in her message of congratulations, praised INSA for fully implementing the ISO 9001:2015 quality management
standards, noting that over 35,932
information technology institutions in Ethiopia adhere to these
internationally recognized requirements. She described the certification as not only an honor but also a practical demonstration of
INSA’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s information assets while
delivering high-quality services.

Selamawit T. Dawit, Director of Immigration and Nationality Services,
remarked that INSA’s achievement sets a benchmark
for other organizations in adopting international quality
standards. The recognition exemplifies how structured quality management
practices can enhance operational

objectives.
With this certification, INSA continues to strengthen its role as Ethiopia’s leading cybersecurity
