Ethiopia has shown its commitment to advancing cybersecurity by recognizing the critical importance of technology in this field and focusing on its development and progress, according to Dr. Muktar Kedir, Ethiopia’s Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ambassador made this statement while attending the annual Global Cybersecurity Forum currently being held in Riyadh.
Dr. Muktar further emphasized that Ethiopia is actively participating in global cooperation platforms in the cybersecurity domain, underlining that the country is playing its part in such international collaborative efforts. He added that Ethiopia will continue to intensify its efforts to elevate the promising progress already being made in this area to a higher level.
The forum is being attended by global leaders, high-ranking officials, scholars, and professionals in the cybersecurity field. It serves as a platform to promote bilateral cooperation and joint efforts to address global cybersecurity challenges and issues.
